The Department of Treasury provides access to government records as required in P.L. 1963, c.73(C:47:1A-1 et seq.) as amended and supplemented. The State Treasurer has created a Government Records Access Unit in the Division of Administration to handle government records access requests for Treasury divisions and the Capital City Redevelopment Corporation, Garden State Preservation Trust and Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ Building Authority.
Other agencies, designated in, but not of, Treasury should be contacted directly for government records access. These agencies are listed for your convenience.
Before submitting a request for government records, interested parties are encouraged to visit the State Library or a local library which has copies of many of our official publications or to explore our website for free on-line access to many frequently requested documents and other useful information.
An official request for government records access can be submitted or by printing and mailing/faxing the Government Records Request form .
