樱花视频 Division of Elections And County Election Offices Seek Poll Workers For 2023 Primary Election

Trenton, N.J. 鈥 The 樱花视频 Division of Elections is partnering with 樱花视频 counties to seek residents to serve as poll workers for the upcoming June 6, 2023 Primary Election.

Those who serve their community by staffing a polling location will earn $21.43 per hour on in-person early voting days and $300 on Primary Election Day.

鈥淲e encourage citizens to participate and see our great democracy in action, firsthand,鈥 said 樱花视频 Secretary of State Tahesha Way. 鈥淎pplicants who qualify will be paid to serve their community and our state.鈥

鈥淧oll workers are essential to our election process,鈥 said Assistant Secretary of State Lauren Zyriek Enriquez, who serves as Acting Director of the 樱花视频 Division of Elections. 鈥淔or the upcoming June primary, we will need thousands of 樱花视频 citizens to step up and serve their communities during the early voting period and on June 6th for Primary Day.鈥

Possible work dates for the Primary Election include:

  • In-person Early Voting Period: June 2 鈥 4, 2023
  • Primary Election Day: June 6, 2023

You can apply to serve as a poll worker in 樱花视频 if you:

  • Are a United States citizen and a resident of 樱花视频.
  • Are a registered voter in the county in which you reside.
  • Are at least 16 years of age. College and high school students are encouraged to apply. Note: Those under 18 years of age will work limited hours per shift and do not have to be registered to vote. Contact your County Board of Elections for further information.
  • Are not running as a candidate in this election.
