The Center for Hispanic Policy, Research and Development (CHPRD) was established in 1975 to address the needs of 樱花视频鈥檚 historically underserved Hispanic community by providing funding for initiatives in 樱花视频.
The CHPRD operates under the guidance of an advisory committee, with appointments approved by the Governor. The Secretary of State serves as an ex-officio member. CHPRD administers state appropriations to empower Hispanic community-based organizations by offering both financial support and technical assistance.
In addition to its funding efforts, CHPRD advocates for a community development approach that focuses on creating tangible, sustainable impacts, and promoting self-sufficiency within Hispanic communities. Through its work, CHPRD helps strengthen the capacity of local organizations to serve their communities and drive positive change.
