Per A4769, RPO applications submitted and approved after 7/1/2023 will receive an E-RPO valid for two years. A retired law enforcement officer must qualify twice per calendar year, minimum three months apart, as per the Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ Attorney General's guidelines. Both initial and renewal application require submission of one recent training record of the qualification undertaken within six months prior to date of application. Approved applicants are responsible for maintaining the training records of all their required qualifications.
Renewal Applicants: Please submit your renewal application three months prior to your expiration date. Upon approval, you will be issued an E-RPO valid for one year (2 years after 7/1/23) from your date of expiration.
