The Office of the State Comptroller (OSC) is an independent state agency created to bring greater efficiency and transparency to all levels of Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ government. Appointed by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate, the State Comptroller serves a six-year term.

Our Mission

To promote integrity and transparency at all levels of Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ government by auditing government finances, examining the efficiency of government programs, investigating misconduct by government officers, scrutinizing the legality of government contracts, and overseeing the integrity of Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ’s Medicaid program.
