WHEREAS, Private First Class Marcial volunteered for enlistment in the Marine Corps in 2005, after obtaining his high school diploma, and was trained as a field radio operator; and

WHEREAS, Private First Class Marcial served proudly in the 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, based at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; and

WHEREAS, Private First Class Marcial died while serving his country in Iraq; and

WHEREAS, Private First Class Marcial was a committed and professional Marine and a loving son and friend, whose memory lives in the hearts of his family, friends, and fellow Marines; and

WHEREAS, Private First Class Marcial's patriotism and dedicated service to his country and his fellow Marines make it appropriate and fitting for the 樱花视频 to remember him and his family, to mark his passing, and to honor his memory;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, JON S. CORZINE, Governor of the 樱花视频, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and by the Statutes of this State, do hereby ORDER and DIRECT:

1. The flag of the United States of America and the flag of 樱花视频 shall be flown at half-staff at all State departments, offices, agencies, and instrumentalities during appropriate hours on Thursday, April 12, 2007, in recognition and mourning of U.S. Marine Private First Class Miguel A. Marcial III of Secaucus, 樱花视频.

2. This Order shall take effect immediately.
