Human Services Commissioner Johnson Statement on Passing of Human Service Police Officer Michael Luko

(TRENTON) –  Human Services Commissioner Carole Johnson released the following statement on the of Human Services Police Officer Michael Luko:

“I am deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ State Human Services Police Officer Michael Luko.

“The work of the Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ State Human Services Police is the epitome of community-based service, as officers work every day to protect some of our most vulnerable residents. Officer Luko brought veteran experience and knowledge to this important role, and became a mentor to younger officers. He will be missed.

“On behalf of the entire Department of Human Services, I send my deepest condolences to Officer Luko’s family at this difficult time. We join in their mourning.”
