The 樱花视频 Department of Health (Department), in consultation with the Public Health Council, proposes to readopt the Higher Education Student Health Insurance Coverage rules at N.J.A.C. 8:57-7.1 and 7.4 with amendments and recodification as new N.J.A.C. 8:92-1.1 and 1.3.  The Department is not proposing to readopt existing N.J.A.C. 8:57-7.2 and 7.3.  The Department is also proposing a new rule at N.J.A.C. 8:92-1.2.

The rules proposed for readoption with amendments and recodification as N.J.A.C. 8:92-1.1 and 1.3, and the proposed new rule at N.J.A.C. 8:92-1.2, implement the Department’s rulemaking obligation pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:62-15, which requires each institution of higher education in the State to offer health insurance coverage on a group or individual basis for purchase by students who are enrolled full-time at an institution, and which requires the Department to promulgate rules implementing this mandate.

Persons wishing to comment on the proposal must submit written comments either (1) electronically by ‎April 5, ‎2024, to ; or (2) by regular mail postmarked by April 5, ‎2024, to Kimberly E.
