Mission Statement

The 樱花视频 Lung Cancer Research Fund supports innovative research focusing on the causes, prevention, screening, treatment and cure of lung cancer.

• All donations support research for the prevention, screening, treatment and cure of lung cancer.
• Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths among men & women in New Jersey and the United States.
• Annually, approximately 5,900 new cases of lung cancer are diagnosed and 4,100 lung cancer deaths are reported in 樱花视频.

• Make donations to the 樱花视频 Lung Cancer Research Fund through a check-off box on your state income tax form and .
• Donations support lung cancer research projects, training fellowships, and educational conferences.

• The Commission administers the Fund at no additional cost to the State.
• Grants are awarded through a competitive scientific peer review process.
• Research projects focus on the causes, prevention, screening, treatment or cure of lung cancer and may include, but are not limited to, basic clinical, and epidemiologic research (P.L.2009, c.172).
• Grants assist researchers in obtaining additional funding from the federal government, foundations and private sources.
• On average, for every dollar the NJCCR awards, more than ten dollars are returned to the state for continued research.
