This endorsement authorizes the holder to teach the following in all public schools:
- Accounting
- Banking and insurance
- Business communications
- Business computer applications
- Business law
- Business management
- Business mathematics
- Business organization
- Economics and finance
- Entrepreneurship
- Exploration in business-related careers
- International business
- Keyboarding
- Marketing
- Office administration and office systems technology
Subject Matter Preparation
Credit Requirements
A minimum of 30 semester-hour credits in a coherent sequence in the subject field of business. At least 12 of the 30 semester-hour credits must be at the advanced level of study (junior, senior or graduate level).
The 30 semester-hour credits must include:
- Six semester-hour credits in accounting
- At least one course in business law
- At least one course in economics
- At least one course in finance
- At least one course in computer applications

The final determination as to which courses will be counted towards the subject matter is based on content standards found in the Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ Student Learning Standards.
Courses in pedagogy or education are not acceptable.
