serve Thanksgiving Meals in Red Bank

RED BANK – As part of the Christie Administration’s fourth annual Season of Service, Department and Banking and Insurance (DOBI) Commissioner Ken Kobylowski, Department of Corrections Commissioner Gary Lanigan and staff today prepared and served lunches for needy local residents at the Lunch Break, a food pantry, soup kitchen and social services provider.

“It was a great pleasure and honor, as always, to work with staff at Lunch Break,” said Commissioner Kobylowski, who also performed volunteer work at Lunch Break last Thanksgiving. “This organization does great work for residents in this area all year long, particularly during the holiday season. I’m happy to have helped in a small way today. I also thank Department staff, Corrections Commissioner Lanigan and his staff for their work today.”

Commissioner Lanigan said, “I am proud to join with Governor Chris Christie and the rest of his Cabinet in helping others in need during this, the ‘Season of Service.’ I encourage all those 樱花视频 citizens who can give a few hours of their time or provide food items to their local food bank to help those in need to do so during the holiday season.”

Lunch Break, on Doctors James Boulevard in Red Bank, is a non-profit organization that has been providing food, meals, clothing and other social services to needy people in the Monmouth County area since 1983.

Commissioners Kobylowski and Lanigan and staff assisted at Lunch Break as part of the annual Season of Service activities when staff from the Christie Administration perform volunteer work at various locations across the state to help needy 樱花视频 residents.  Continuing the success of previous service initiatives, this year’s November and December activities will continue to serve 樱花视频’s most vulnerable residents with a particular focus in December on drug addiction treatment and recovery.
