The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment from any interested parties regarding proposed amendments and new rules N.J.A.C. 11:3-29, which were published on December 18, 2000 in the 樱花视频 Register (32 N.J.R. 4332(a)).

The hearing shall be conducted pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:14B-4g by a Hearing Officer designated by the Commissioner. The Hearing Officer shall make recommendations to the Commissioner in the form of a written report, which shall be issued no later than 30 days after the record is closed and shall be made public. A verbatim transcript of the hearing will be prepared by a certified stenographic reporter; a copy of the transcript may be obtained by ordering it from the reporter at the hearing or thereafter.

At the beginning of the hearing, the Department will present a summary of the proposal. Thereafter, interested parties may present oral comments and may direct questions about the proposed rule through the Hearing Officer. The Department reserves the right to limit oral comments and questions in either time or number in order to complete the hearing on the scheduled hearing date.

The Department requests that persons wishing to testify register with the Department's Office of Regulatory Affairs on or before Friday, January 19, 2001, by phoning 609-984-3602 x50021, faxing 609-292-0896 or by email: legsregs@dobi.nj.gov. If it is necessary to limit oral comments at the hearing, preference will be given to persons who notified the Department, in order of receipt.
