The Department of Banking and Insurance anticipates making available $2 million in grant funding for the 樱花视频 State Navigator Program for Plan Year 2020. The program will be funded through a state assessment applied to health benefits plans sold in the individual market, as provided by P.L.2019, c.141. The Department anticipates issuing a Request for Applications for funding for the 樱花视频 State Navigator Program in the coming weeks, which will replace the federal program in 樱花视频.
Under the program, Navigator grantees will be required to meet federal regulatory requirements designed to prevent or minimize potential conflicts of interest that may exist for entities or individuals to be awarded grants. The requirements will include those applicable under 45 CFR 155.210 (d). Navigator grantees will also be required to complete training to ensure expertise concerning topics such as qualified health plan (QHP) options, insurance affordability programs, eligibility and enrollment rules and regulations, privacy and security standards, and the needs of underserved and vulnerable populations. Training will consist of U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ Marketplace training and state-specific training. |
