“The success of Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ’s clean energy future remains closely linked to robust public engagement,” said NJBPU President Christine Guhl-Sadovy. “As we build upon the State’s third offshore wind solicitation and the promise of thousands of good-paying jobs, we look forward to soliciting valuable feedback from our partners in Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ’s clean energy transition.”
In its most recent solicitation, on January 24, 2024 the Board awarded two of Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ’s largest offshore wind projects to date, the 1,342 MW Attentive Energy Two project and the 2,400 MW Leading Light Wind project. Developers of both projects, alongside Murphy Administration officials and representatives from organized labor, recently the projects’ potential economic impact at the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters’ Commercial Dive School facility in Sicklerville.
