STATE BOARD OF AGRICULTURE NORTH JERSEY OPEN MEETING TO BE HELD AT NJ PLANTS TRADE SHOW

(TRENTON) – The Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ State Board of Agriculture will hold its annual North Jersey Open Meeting at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 28 at NJ PLANTS, a horticulture industry trade show, in Edison.Ìý

Members of the public may attend the open meeting and bring up any issues of concern to the State Board of Agriculture.Ìý The session will be followed immediately by the Board’s regular monthly meeting, which consists of board business and reports.

This will be the first time the Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ State Board of Agriculture will be holding the North Jersey meeting at the NJ PLANTS show.Ìý This presents a unique opportunity for North Jersey agriculture producers to attend and visit with the Board.

The Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ Professional Landscape and Nursery Trade Show (NJ PLANTS) will take place January 27 and 28 at the Ó£»¨ÊÓÆµ Convention and Exposition Center, 97 Sunfield Ave., Edison.Ìý The show gathers together landscape professionals, garden center owners, nursery growers, suppliers and commercial groundskeepers to exchange ideas and develop connections to increase profitability in the coming season.

The trade show draws hundreds of vendors and more than 1,500 attendees each year.
