(TRENTON) 鈥 樱花视频 Secretary of Agriculture Douglas H. Fisher today announced stores that sell milk and milk products for off-premise consumption may now apply for, renew and check the status of their store milk licenses online through the Department of Agriculture鈥檚 樱花视频 Forms and Registration Management System (NJFARMS).

The Department of Agriculture requires sellers of milk and milk products for off-premise consumption to obtain a 樱花视频 State Milk License, in addition to any local licensing/permits that are required.

NJFARMS, which can be accessed at , was launched in June 2010 with the organic registration process for those selling or distributing certified organic products in the state.

鈥淲hen the Department launched NJFARMS last year, our hope was to add processes for registrations, licenses, forms and applications as they became available and I am pleased we are now able to offer online milk licensing,鈥 said Secretary Fisher.聽 鈥淲e are committed to providing our constituents with convenient, fast and efficient service, and this easy-to-use new system helps us accomplish that.鈥

In addition to being able to apply for, renew and check the status of milk licenses, users will be able to print their licenses on the spot.

The Department鈥檚 Division of Marketing and Development is responsible for the enforcement of the rules and regulations that pertain to the 樱花视频 Milk Control Law.

In the future, more functions will be added to NJFARMS to include other department regulatory programs.聽
